Registeraccountant RA · Power BI trainer · Netherlands
I teach finance professionals to build Power BI reports their board actually reads.
Sixteen years a chartered accountant — eight of them auditing at EY — before I moved to the other side of the report and started building them. Power BI Mastery is where I teach finance teams to do the same.

Power BI Mastery
The training programme. Learn to build the report a board actually reads — from someone who spent eight years signing off on the numbers underneath it.
Three ways to take it.

The full programme, on your own clock, from anywhere.
Your team, your data, your office
Fourteen programmes delivered. We work on your own reports, not a demo dataset.

Control over Reports
Power BI and financial reporting, built for organisations in the Netherlands. This is where the training material comes from — real projects, real month-ends, real people who have to defend the number.

A budgeting tool for Dutch households — the same discipline, a different scale.
gripopmijngeld.nlOn stage, and in the room
Where I have stood in front of people.
Conferences, user groups, retreats and client offices. Named, dated, and photographed — because in this field almost nobody bothers to show it.
Power BI Conference
Speaker — “Mastering P&L Reporting in Power BI: Essential Techniques for Finance Teams.” Organised by Avi Singh, 300+ attendees.
Speaker, PBIG
Presenting the P&L data model to the largest Power BI user group in the country.
Power BI Retreat
Invited to teach at Avi Singh's retreat — three days, a small group, hands on the keyboard the whole time.
Marco Russo drew the first winner
Marco Russo of SQLBI, with Mariska van Kan, drew the winner of the first Power BI Mastery giveaway.
Training on site
A team, their own data, in their own office. Around twenty train-the-trainer sessions on top of that.
The room it happens in
Three days with Power BI practitioners from across the field. Most of what I teach got sharper in rooms like this one.

Control over Reports
My own consultancy. Power BI and financial reporting for Dutch organisations — and, since then, the training that grew out of it.
Who I am
The accountant who went over to the other side.
For eight years my job was to check other people's numbers. Then I became the one producing them — controller, project lead, and eventually the person building the reporting itself. I have sat on both sides of the same report, and that is really the whole of my teaching.
Most Power BI training is written by developers for developers. Mine is written by a chartered accountant for the people who have to walk into a board meeting and defend what is on the screen. The difference shows up in the data model, not in the chart.
I work from Suwâld, in Fryslân, and travel for the in-company work. If you have seen me at a conference, at the Dutch user group, or on the YouTube channel — that is the same person, same material.
The list
One email when there is something worth your time.
A new video, a new technique, or a date for the next in-company round. No sequence, no drip, no “quick question, Frank?” at 7am.
